For more than 30 years, The CMI Group has provided experience, intellectual property, and technology to government municipalities, large and small businesses. Founded in 1985 by Tom Stockton, a U.S. Navy veteran, CMI focused on providing accounts receivable management and call center capabilities to the cable industry.  In 2007, CMI started the process to become a wholly employee-owned company (ESOP).  Tom believed this ESOP structure ensured that all of CMI’s employee/owners have the opportunity to share in the company’s successes.
